Herbert E. Pounds Jr.

Herb Pounds is a member of the Texas Bar Association. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in accounting, and he obtained his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law.

After graduating from Texas A&M, he served in the United States Air Force, where he flew over 220 combat missions as a pilot in Southeast Asia. After graduating from law school, he worked primarily in the banking industry until 1987, where he was president of a national bank. Since 1987, he has been an attorney in private practice dealing in banking, real estate, bankruptcy, probate, tax, and complex business litigation. More recently, he has shifted his practice to focus on securities fraud, broker misconduct, brokerage disputes, FINRA arbitration, mediation, and recovery of investor losses.
